Have to phone at 8am to get an appointment, what happens if you work, stay at home until 8am, how many days will you have to do this? What if you have children, the same applies. Can only collect prescriptions Monday - Friday. Doors are locked at weekends, no entry unless you have an appointment. I thought the surgery was there to help the sick, this doesn't seem to be the case in this health centre. The one good point is that they still do blood tests for anyone who has diabetes.

Receptionist was more intent of mouthing the words to the song playing on the radio than listening to us asking for a specific thing. Next to useless why have a service that is not usable ? Why have someone who does not listen to a patient because of the radio? This is very bad as it could be very important to a patient. We were not the first to have this done today.

Though the receptionists are generally very helpful, they often seem hand-tied with regards to appointments; caused either by a lack of GP's and/or high numbers. The centre's infrastructure isn't built to cater for the influx of so-called refugees. Regarding GP's: I have had cause to chase up and almost beg a GP to make a couple of referrals for me some weeks back; only to find that only one of these has been made; the most important one, being the most likely to cause death if not dealt with, has still NOT been made. Why not I wonder? If the GP has in fact made the referral, why is this not showing on the system? All-in-all, I'm not that impressed with the level of service given.

some staff are abrupt been ringing for two weeks to get evening appointment cant get one been ringing for two weeks for a weekend appointment for the doctor cant get one was told there would be 4 doctors there when the walk in closed if you was registered with them only one doctor on plus nurses at the moment this service from this surgery is appalling so far to improve this surgery there needs to be more doctors and more flexibility with more appointments in the evenings during the week and weekends as they are open until 8pm for people that work during the day on a phone call that was made to the surgery to get an appointment for my husband in the evening or weekend i was told to drop his work during the day and go down there are they going to pay his days wages he loses or find him a job if he loses it this surgery needs a lot of improvement we are new registered patients and we are very unsatisfied with this surgery our suggestion is to get more doctors and be more flexible with appointments for evenings and weekends for people that have to work and needs to see a doctor for their health and staff that have better attitudes my husband is diabetic and should never have to wait for a doctor and keep being told there is no appointments all the time the care really needs to step up on this surgery

Almost impossible to get an appointment. It's not helpful to people who actually have a job. Your only guarantee of being seen is to walk in and sit around waiting for hours which you can't do if you have a full time job. It took me almost 3 months to actually get an appointment to see a doctor (and that's with ringing every morning to get on the day appointments as they don't offer appointments in advance.) The centre was unclean, smelly and noisy with a bad atmosphere of lots of people sitting around disgruntled at having to wait so long. When I finally saw the GP she rushed me out within 5 mins barely listened to my symptoms and prescribed medication that bore no relation to my complaint. I have now registered with another practice as a result of this poor level of service received and would recommend this practice to anyone at all
